It's been a light running week leading up to tomorrow's DHRT Half Marathon down in Dixie (King George, VA)...

I ran the same race last year and had a great time running this trail...lots of pine trees! As always with half marathons I hope to break 2 hours...I was able to finish last year's DHRT just under the 2 hour mark at 1:58:39 thanks to a furious push on the return trip of the out and back course...
As a bonus tomorrow daughter Hannah will be joining me for her first long distance race...experiencing some right knee soreness but looking forward to the 13.1 mile challenge...
No visits to Jug Bay this week...just did some evening power hikes around the barn and field early in the week...second half of the week weather was cold wet and dreary so I prescribed myself some pre-race rest...mileage will be down for two weeks now, but I plan on a March rebound...
Running is Fun...
